i rent a 3 acre paddock for my 2 good doers, i have installed the paddock paradise around the edge to improve their well being and intend to cut hay from the middle of the field however some parts of the field are just overpowered by clover where there is hardly any grass at all. this is obviously too rich for my horses. how do i change the clover to good low sugar high fibre grass?

There are two recommended options. An application of Ammonia Sulphate will inhibit the growth of the clover reducing the smothering effect on the grasses or in the event of the clover still dominating the sward a suitable herbiside may need to be applied when the clover is actively growing
